Brayden Yager to play in young stars classic tournament

Winnipeg Jets newest prospect will be making his highly anticipated Jets debut at the Young Stars Classic Tournament, in Penticton, BC.

The highly talented forward was acquired by the Winnipeg Jets during a blockbuster exchange for Rutger McGroarty last week.
This year marks the 11th edition of the Young Stars Classic, featuring prospects from the Vancouver Canucks, Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers, and Winnipeg Jets in a four-team, round-robin tournament format. Additionally, the hometown Penticton Vees of the BCHL.
The 2024 Young Stars Classic at the South Okanagan Events Centre (SOEC) in Penticton, BC will go on from September 13 to Monday, September 16, 2024.
Yager will be getting some ice time against some of the NHL's best prospects and coaches will get an inside look at what their newest addition looks like during pre-season matchups.
Yager will be in the Manitoba capital in early September with his fellow Jets rookies before the group takes off for Penticton. After taking part of the Young Stars tournament, he will take part of main camp where Warrios head coach O'Leary is excited about Yager learning some good habits from one of the Jets veteran players.
