The tables have now turned on Winnipeg Jets top prospect Rutger McGroarty.

«It's not a good look» was the headline last month which was aimed at the #NHLJets handling of the Rutger McGroarty situation. Now it looks like the tables have turned and that same quote appears to be more suited to the McGroarty side.

Over the past few months, the heat was directed towards Kevin Cheveldayoff and the Jets management due to their "mismanagement" of their top prospect Rutger McGroarty. The debate has now shifted as Rutger McGroarty has now been red flagged over his childish behaviour and unprofessionalism regarding his actions towards the organization.
The heat really started to crank up after Rutger McGroarty opted out on partaking in the Jets summer development camp and made it clear we wasn't interesting in participating in anything related to Jets hockey.
McGroarty could've taken the high road and joined the rest of the prospects in summer development camp. But now, he seems to be wanting to call the shots regarding his status in the Jets organization.
One can only think McGroarty isn't doing himself any favours. With his actions now on full display on social media, it can only hurt his potential of being traded as teams aren't interested in acquiring prima donnas.
