Former NHL player passes away
Tragic news emerges out the NHL as it was announced that former Ottawa Senators defenceman Dmitri Filimonov passed away at the age of 52.
Hearts are heavy in Sens nation today as beloved former defenceman Dmitri Filimonov passed away suddenly, and unexpectedly.
Filimonov was a draft pick of the Winnipeg Jets who ended up playing 30 games with the Ottawa Senators. Filimonov also got to play in Russia for many years and even represented his country at the Canada Cup in 1991.
Jets Latest send their condolences to Senators fans and the friends and family of Filimonov.
