During a segment of the Ray & Dregs podcast, TSN hockey insider Darren Dreger had some intense comments about the Winnipeg Jets off season.
Winnipeg Jets general manager Kevin Cheveldayoff has been under some intense scrutiny as of late. The Jets GM has taken some criticism that he's been too passive this off-season in addition to not getting key signings done.
Dreger: "Tough day for the Winnipeg Jets, by the way, they tried to extend Sean Monahan, that didn't work, he goes to Columbus, they tried on Henrique...that didn't work, they tried on Lizotte, that didn't work. Chevy's got some lifting to do" (Ray & Dregs Podcast)
Kevin Cheveldayoff definitely has his work cut out for him if he wants any chance of redeeming himself. It will be interesting to see what the Jets GM has up his sleeve in the coming weeks.
