Will the Winnipeg Jets Continue to receive offensive contributions throughout the lineup or will the load fall on the core of returning players?

With the Winnipeg Jets core still together going into the 2024-25 NHL season much of the load of offence should fall onto players like Mark Scheifele, and Kyle Connor. Center Mark Scheifele led Winnipeg last season with 72 points (25 goals, 47 assists) in 74 games. Upon his return, Kyle Connor continued to post strong offensive numbers, ending the season on a seven-game point streak to finish with 34 goals and 27 assists for 61 points in 65 games, his sixth-career 30-plus goal season, and fifth-career 60-plus point season.
To be competitive, the Jets will require offensive contributions from everyone in their lineup, not just from there top players alone. They were able to do that last season with 14 players registering at least 30 points on the season, including forwards Sean Monahan and Tyler Toffoli, who were acquired in trades.
Monahan and Toffoli as expected each left as an unrestricted free agent, which leaves a couple of holes to fill on the top two lines. Their departures will create opportunity for younger players such as the recently acquired Brayden Yager, along with prospects Colby Barlow, Chaz Lucius and Brad Lambert.
One player expected to take the next jump in his development in hopes to see his offensive numbers grow is Center Cole Perfetti. Perfetti had 38 points (19 goals, 19 assists) in 71 games last season. With Perfetti's expected increase in ice time in 2024-25 there's a strong case for the Jets Young Center iceman to be a strong contributor in the point production for the up coming season.
