With the NHL season almost done, Winnipeg Jets fans look ahead to the 2024 NHL draft.

After a disappointing end to the 2024 NHL season, Winnipeg Jets fans are eagerly awaiting the NHL off season to see what their team can produce before next year. With a busy off-season awaiting general Manager Kevin Cheveldayoff, he might be in trouble when analyzing his options in this years draft.
For the first time in recent history, The Jets do not have a first round pick and will only be able to select once in the first three rounds. This ultimately comes as a huge disappointment for Jets enthusiasts as they will be missing out on pretty much all the high end talent and will have to make due with a late pick.
it will be an interesting week leading up to next Friday's draft for the Jets — not likely because of their pursuit of acquiring a first-round draft pick, but rather who they'll select with their only pick in the first three rounds. But if something lands on the lap of the Jets and presents itself as a too-good-to-pass-up upgrade that includes as first-round selection, then that attitude would assuredly change. But don't bet on that happening.

So the big question is, who should the Jets select with their draft pick? The Winnipeg Jets should look to scoop up a forward to help bolster their offence as it appears that Nikolaj Ehlers is heading out the door in the coming weeks.
