Although the Jets had yet another disappointing end to their NHL season, we pay homage to some of the great performances over the course of the 2023-2024 NHL season.

The season wasn't all bad, the Jets were front runners for the presidents trophy all year long and posed as one of the formidable forces in the NHL. But one game in particular was a standout performance for the Winnipeg Jets.
Many fans will recall the electrifying "Raleigh back" game against the Carolina Hurricanes. The Jets were surely down, but not out in that match up, and stormed back with 5 straight goals to defeat the Hurricanes in one of the greatest comebacks in Jets recent history.
"The Jets got the third-period start they needed via a sneaky goal from Connor at 1:36. Then, at 3:02, Nino Niederreiter made it a one-goal game by taking a Nate Schmidt centring pass and depositing it deftly into the net on the backhand. At 5:40, Scheifele tied the game on a slick power-play goal from in tight after Josh Morrissey displayed his tremendous offensive awareness by smartly poking the puck to him. It was just their eighth three-goal, third period comeback win in franchise history."

This game marked a huge turning point for the Winnipeg Jets who were struggling to be consistent in their winning efforts. The "Raleigh back" game served as one of the benchmark marquee matchups which lit a fire under the Jets who ultimately turned into a deadly force from that point on.
