Daily Face Off recently published an interesting article where they ranked the top Winnipeg Jets prospects.

Brad Lambert, an electrifying Jets prospect has been ranked in second place on Daily Faceoff's prospect list. Lambert was slightly edged out by Rutger McGroarty, but it was realistically any ones game to achieve the top spot.
I was so happy to see Lambert have such an excellent season last year after a difficult 2022-23. He had an assist in his NHL debut and also scored 21 goals and 55 points in 64 games with Manitoba. It wasn't his first pro year, having played two full years in the Finnish Liiga, but it helped establish himself as a legit high-end prospect again.

There's an argument that he's the best the team has, too, although I'm still giving McGroarty's overall game an edge. I hope Lambert has another strong preseason and pushes himself into the conversation to play full-time with Winnipeg sooner rather than later because a player with his skill will be so much fun to watch at the next level.

Lambert is entering one of the most exciting seasons of his young hockey career. Lots of the offseason conversation involved Lambert potentially cracking a top 6 position on the team.
There has also been some conversation regarding Lambert being a candidate for the Calder Trophy this upcoming season. If he manages to secure a spot on the Jets roster, the sky is the limit for this young skilled prospect.
