Dylan Coghlan is the newest member of the Winnipeg Jets organization and will look ahead to the regular season to make an impact.
Coghlan has failed to gain traction since his emergence in the NHL, but with a new opportunity to play in the Canadian prairies, he has his eyes set on the 2024-25 season.
Dylan Coghlan is an un-drafted defenceman who the Jets didn't actually sign, but rather traded for, sending future considerations to the Carolina Hurricanes.
Coghlan had a great year with the AHL's Springfield Thunderbirds in the AHL last season, so he'll look to carry that momentum with the Manitoba Moose. His big shot is what likely caught the attention of the Jets, which could be useful if he gets playing time in the NHL this season.
He's a a big shot defenceman with lots of potential upside, but he will need to take time to refine his skill set with the Manitoba Moose to prove he's a capable NHL player.
