Thomas Milic is a notable Winnipeg Jets prospect poised to have a breakout season next year.

Milic is arguably one the the better goaltender prospects in the league and has been performing extremely well this week during the Jets summer development camp. Jets management has been a keeping a close eye on him as next season presents a prime opportunity to assert himself as the Jets #2 goaltender.
Milic, selected a 20-year-old in the fifth round after being named the Western Hockey League's top goaltender, began his 2023-24 campaign with the Winnipeg Jets ECHL affiliate in Norfolk. By the end of the season, he had played in the Spengler Cup and backstopped the AHL's Manitoba Moose in two games of the Calder Cup Playoffs.
The Westminster BC native had an excellent season between the pipes last year. He got a really good feel for the professional game playing for the ECHL's Norfolk Admirals and posted some excellent numbers. He had a dazzling 11-3-2 record and a 0.908 save percentage.
With the recent acquisitions of Eric Comrie and Kaapo Kahkonen, the competition level raises for Milic to prove himself as the true backup goaltender for Vezina Winning Connor Hellebuyk.
