Laine Return?

A massive update has been issued regarding Patrik Laine being cleared from the NHLPA's assistance program.

The fascination that #NHLJets fans have with a Patrik Laine reunion baffles me. He peaked at age 19. He's another one dimensional winger (just what this team needs 🤔🤷‍♂️)

Although NHL fans across the league expressed happiness for Laine's overall health progress, the sentiment in Winnipeg concerning a potential return is quite negative.
Patrik Laine was an all-star for the Winnipeg Jets since his emergence in the NHL in 2016.
Laine arrived in the NHL as an 18-year-old in 2016-17 and looked right at home. He finished with 64 points (36 goals, 28 assists) in 73 games, finishing second in voting for the Calder Trophy as the NHL's top rookie. Laine was even better in his second season, finishing second in the NHL with 44 goals

Fans seem to think that Laine has reached his peak and doesn't pose as the elite offensive threat he used to be.
In addition to the concern of his scoring plateau, Jets enthusiasts are worried that Laine will bring a level of inconsistency to the team due to his history of mental and lingering injuries.
Laine is still recovering from a off-season shoulder surgery and is set to begin rehabilitation in hopes to be 100% before the debut of the 2024-25 NHL regular season.
