The Winnipeg Jets have announced they have agreed to terms with new defensive acquisition Dylan Coghlan.

The Winnipeg Jets GM Kevin Cheveldayoff and new defenceman Dylan Coghlan have agreed to a one year, two way contract for the upcoming NHL season.
The deal comes in at the $775K league-minimum, should he play with the Jets next season. If the 26-year-old spends time with the Moose, he will make $200K.

The Jets acquired the RHS defenceman in a low risk exchange which saw Coghlan come to the Jets in return for future considerations.
He played the 2023-24 season in Springfield with the Hurricanes' affiliate. He scored 16 goals and 41 points in 61 games played. He skated in 17 games with Carolina two years back, earning three assists in roughly 13 minutes of ice time per game.

Lets hope Coghlan can seize this massive opportunity to change his game around in Winnipeg. He's known for his big shot, which is something the Jets could really benefit from this upcoming season.
