Winnipeg Jets prospect Brad Lambert has a great opportunity ahead of him next season.

After reports of Rutger McGroarty committing to play in the NCAA for the next two seasons, Brad Lambert has emerged as the current #1 prospects for the Winnipeg Jets.
Winnipeg Jets general manager Kevin Cheveldayoff has altered his course of action this season by looking internally to his farm system to give his young prospects a shot at making an impact for the team. After huge holes left in the Jets top 6 due to the departure of Sean Monahan and Tyler Toffoli, Brad Lambert will be looking to slither into the Jets lineup.
Looking back to the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, Lambert was projected as a top-three pick a year prior to the draft, but after an unproductive season in Finland, his stock fell and he landed with the Jets at 30th overall. He was always touted as a very highly skilled forward, and since coming to North America to play, he has proven just how valuable he is.

He was dominant in the Western Hockey League (WHL) with the Seattle Thunderbirds in the regular season and playoffs, and in his first full season in the American Hockey League (AHL), he posted 55 points in 64 games. His offensive talents are the biggest strength of his game, and with the right coach, having a ceiling of a player like J.T. Miller could be very reasonable.

At just 20 years of age, Brad Lambert could emerge as a serious contender for a top 6 position on the Winnipeg Jets. If the young prospect manages to put up some numbers in the preseason, Scott Arniel will be looking to see what kind of impact Lambert can have on the second line.
