After suffering a serious concussion last season, Winnipeg Jets prospect Zach Nehring is ready to make some noise next season.

Zach Nehring, 19, was a 2023 3rd round overall draft pick by the Winnipeg Jets. Although, the road hasn't been easy so far for Nehring who suffered a concussion early on playing for the Sioux Falls Stampede of the United States Hockey League.
Unfortunately, the young prospect was involved in a big collision early on and missed out on the opportunity to get himself settled in with his new teammates. Luckily, Nehring was able to get himself back in action for the last 20 games of the season for the Stampede, but is ultimately looking ahead to next season to prove the hockey world he's capable.
Nehring has moved on from the USHL to college hockey for the 2024-25 season. He will begin his first campaign with Western Michigan University this fall.

«Going into college next year. It's bigger, stronger, guys. But I think I'm ready. You know, just the training in the summer has been nice kind of compare yourself and put yourself with those older guys in the weight room especially,» said Nehring.

It will be interesting to see how Nehring bounces back after suffering a concussion last season. The Jets faithful will be keeping a close eye on him to see how he performs on a new NCAA team next year.
