With multiple Winnipeg Jets players heading into the final season of their contracts, arguably the most notable one is forward Gabriel Vilardi.

Vilardi was acquired by the Winnipeg Jets during the blockbuster Pierre-Luc Dubois trade to the LA Kings and has become a prominent member of the Jets.
The 24-year-old scored 23 goals along with recording 18 assists for 41 points in 63 games with the Kings during the 2022-23 season. He is at a modest $3.44 Million cap hit that favours the Jets greatly and should motivate Vilardi to push for a massive pay raise into a pay range around our next player.

This year is a crucial one for Gabriel Vilardi. If he manages to stay consistent with another solid offensive season, he will be primed to earn a significant bump in pay for the 2025-26 season.
The big question remains, should the Winnipeg Jets re-sign him once his contract expires?
