Patrik Laine continues to make headlines as trade rumours are heating up.
It was recently announced that Patrik Laine has been cleared from the NHLPA's players assistance program. With that being said, Blue Jackets general manager Don Waddell continues for his search to trade away his prized asset.
With his desire to leave the Blue Jackets and the changes in the team's management and coaching staff, it seems like both Laine and the organization are preparing for a potential split. If Don Waddell can find a suitable trade partner, Patrick Laine might get the fresh start he's looking for, but it's still uncertain where he might end up.
