Rutger McGroarty has been exposed lying to Jets fans

A video has recently surfaced of former Winnipeg Jets prospect Rutger McGroarty lying to Jets fans.
The video shows McGroarty telling the camera that he grew up as a Winnipeg Jets fan and absolutely loves the organization. Clearly that's not the case as he refused to give a true reason why he wanted to leave the team had not signed a contract. General manager Kevin Cheveldayoff had spoken to his agent along with McGroarty and it was clear that he could not change their minds.
This leaked video has Jets fans losing their mind right now. There have been recent reports of Rutger admitting to "not feeling right" in a Jets uniform. In addition, Elliot Friedman announced on his 32 Thoughts podcast that McGroarty wanted out due to being "unhappy" with the Jets.
His actions over the course of the NHL offseason are highly contradictory to what he's saying in this video. If Rutger was a lifelong Jets fans growing up, how would he end up "not feeling right" in a Jets jersey?
