Nick Cousins, a former member of the Florida Panthers is looking for a new city to call home.

Nick Cousins is known to be a gritty forward NHL players hate facing. In contrast, the former Florida Panthers forward is a player a lot of teams would love to have. Cousins is an agitator, a grinder, and a capable fourth liner known to get in the face of his opponents.
Its no secret that the Winnipeg Jets made no big moves this NHL off season. With still lots of time left on the proverbial clock, Kevin Cheveldayoff should strongly consider giving Cousins a good hard look in order to bolster his 4th line.
Cousins seemed to find a good spot in the lineup with the Florida Panthers. Cousins played most of last season and about half of the playoff games during the Panthers Stanley Cup run, and he always seemed to understand his role as a bottom 6 forward.

The Jets already have a few players that play a similar style to Cousins, but it wouldn't hurt to see how Cousins could fit on say the Jets 4th line. Cousins is 31 years old, and could be a popular pick for a PTO if he remains unsigned the rest of this off-season.

NHL enthusiasts seem to be somewhat surprised that Cousins still remains an unsigned UFA. If he remains untouched heading into training camp, Jets fans are urging Jets management to consider signing cousins to a PTO as his services could potentially be valuable moving forward.
