The Winnipeg Jets give fan an inside look at what its like for pro hockey players getting in some summer training. In this montage, Connor Hellebuyck goes back to his old stomping ground of the Lakeland Arena in the Waterford townships.
Connor Hellebuyck's grassroots arena in Waterford is where his dreams of becoming an NHL goaltender all began. Randy Wilson, Hellebuyck's goaltender coach even partook in the training as well.
During the practice session, Hellebuyck spoke about his thoughts going into the 2023-2024 NHL season.
"I would say i'm just as motivated as I've been my entire career. I have one goal left in mind, and thats to win a cup. So you, I'm really excited to get back in the swing of thing."
Lets see if Hellebuyck can transition his summer training session skills into the debut of the highly anticipated regular season.
