As we await the debut of the highly anticipated AHL regular season, the Manitoba Moose are looking absolutely deadly.

Although the Jets general manager Kevin Cheveldayoff took a back seat in regards to signing elite NHL UFA's, he did not hold back on stacking up his AHL farm affiliate with high end talent.
The Jets' minor league team will likely have 7 skaters labelled as «veterans» this season and that means that at least one of those players will be in the press-box each game. Veteran defenders like Ashton Sautner, Hayden Fleury, & Dylan Coghlan will provide the leadership required to allow younger d-men the chance to thrive, while also giving the Jets more overall depth at the position.

Dominic Toninato and Mason Shaw adding some serious grinding energy to the organization. Axel Jonsson-Fjallby will probably get to use his speed in the top six to help out Winnipeg's youth despite the lack of consistent scoring at the AHL level. He will most likely be joined by near-veteran Jaret Anderson-Dolan.

The Manitoba Moose are looking like true Calder Cup contenders next season. They will look to improve off their mediocre 34-35-2-1 record from the year prior.
