Cole Perfetti has been a focal point for the Jets this NHL offseason.
The big conversation around Cole Perfetti as of late has been his his contract extension. Although there have been reports of long term consideration, a 2-3 year bridge deal will be the likely outcome.
With that being said, this year is arguably the most important season of Cole Perfetti's young NHL career.

Regardless on his upcoming contract, which he will sign any time now, the expectations will still be that Perfetti improves on his 2nd full pro season. The 1st half of last season Perfetti looked great, but the 2nd half of the season saw less results and affected him after an injury.
I got my faith in Perfetti still, but if he wants to prove himself in the top 6, he'll need to put up close to 50 points to show that his development is trending in the right direction.
