The Winnipeg Jets face some uncertainty next season when analyzing their goaltender situation.

The latest buzz surrounding the Winnipeg Jets is wether or not backup goaltender Laurent Brossoit will decide to leave the team this off-season. If this is indeed the case, what options do the Winnipeg Jets have?
The open market doesn't pose many options for Jets general manager Kevin Cheveldayoff regarding scooping affordable high end goalie talent. Sources are speculating that the Jets should look internally in the event Brossoit vacates the team.
The Jets may have an answer in goaltender Thomas Milic, who is the starting goaltender for the Jets affiliates Manitoba Moose in the AHL.
The netminder who ran away with the Moose's starting job towards the back half of last season was 21-year-old Thomas Milic. The Canadian bounced around from the ECHL back to the Moose, where he eventually earned the starting job, thanks to some stellar play. He finished the season with an impressive 19-9-2 record and a 2.72 goals against average.

In the event where Laurent Broissoit decides to ultimately leave the team this off season, the Jets faithful can rest assured they have a solid backup plan regarding Thomas Millic. Although he hasn't been tested at the NHL level, Milic has a chance to prove himself as a solid option to replace Laurent Brossoit.
