Winnipeg Jets issue statement on the death of Johnny Gaudreau

True North Sports + Entertainment and the Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club have issued a statement on Johnny Gaudreau.

Per the New Jersey State Police, Johnny and his brother Matthew were struck and killed by a vehicle while riding bikes in Oldmans Township, Salem County, New Jersey on Thursday evening. This resulted in the death of both brothers, an unthinkable tragedy that has shocked the world of hockey.
The Winnipeg Jets have issued an official statement addressing the tragic situation that has unfolded:
WINNIPEG - True North Sports + Entertainment and the Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club are deeply saddened by the tragic passing of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau. Johnny had a tremendous impact on and off the ice, both internationally and in the National Hockey League. Our sincerest condolences and support are with the Gaudreau family, their friends, the Columbus Blue Jackets and Calgary Flames organizations, as well as all those fans of the game who were impacted by their talents.

Jets Latest continues to send their deepest sympathies to every one impacted by this senseless tragedy.
