Former NHL coach Bruce Boudreau had some high praise for Winnipeg Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck.

Bruce Boudreau is a beloved former NHL head coach and player. He previously served as head coach of the Washington Capitals, Anaheim Ducks, Minnesota Wild, and Vancouver Canucks, but found most of is success coaching the Wild.
During a segment on the NHL network, former head coach Bruce Boudreau and Cory Schneider broke down the latest goaltender rankings, and his thoughts on Hellebuyck being ranked at #2.

"I think he's a great goaltender. He's often beat me when I was in Minnesota. I hated going up against Winnipeg because you knew he was in net, and he was going to stop you."

Boudreau also went on to highlight some of Connor Hellebuyck's attributes as an NHL player.
"You gotta love a goalie who never wants to rest. He want the net all the time, and you know you're getting the best effort from him. During the regular season, theres a reason Winnipeg gets 110 points, its because of Connor Hellebuyck"

Although Connor Hellebuyck wasn't ranked #1, Jets fans can be optimistic knowing that the rest of the league still views him as one the best despite a shaky playoff performance against the Colorado Avalanche.
