Cole Spicer, 20, has just made the toughest decision of his young life to step away from his pro hockey career to address his mental health concerns
Spicer, drafted 117th overall in 2022, had shown promise playing for the University of Minnesota-Duluth, contributing five goals and four assists in 17 games last season.

His decision to leave the sport has garnered an outpouring of support from fans, emphasizing the seriousness of mental health challenges and offering encouragement for Spicer's future. The Bruins organization, which had high hopes for Spicer's development, undoubtedly supports his decision to prioritize his well-being.
