Pionk is oh so very close to notching is 200th career assist with the Winnipeg Jets, which is an impressive stat to say the least. Tallying 200 career assists is nothing to scoff as many NHL'ers don't reach that mark in their entire careers.

Last year for the Jets, Pionk notched 5 goals and 28 assists, therefore Jets enthusiasts can almost guarantee that he will be hitting the 200 assists midway through the regular season.

Additionally, Pionk has been the recent headlines of some praise throughout the NHL as he managed to crack the fan votes for the over top 100 defenders in the league.

Although theres been some speculation as of late regarding his status with the team, obtaining 200 NHL assists is a noteworthy achievement worth the recognition.
