Dustin Byfuglien wants his own pro fishing show

Dustin Byfuglien is one of the characters that you either love or hate.

Recently, the former Winnipeg Jets defenceman has been making headlines for potentially wanting to start his own professional fishing show.
Fishing is a big part of Byfuglien's life. It comes from his summers growing up, where everyone took part in it in Roseau, Minnesota. He shared his fishing upbringing with a Canadian outdoor's magazine, and when he was a teenager, he even took a year off of hockey and used that time to ice-fish. The biggest fish he has caught is a 52-inch muskellunge, also known as a «muskie.»

Byfuglien has even participated in a couple of fishing competitions in the past (from ‘Big Buff Loves Big Fish,' Ontario OUT of DOORS Magazine. He's stated that he hopes to have his own fishing show.

Despite being one of the most controversial players in Jets 2.0 history, fans seem to be embracing his love for trophy fishing during his retirement.
Byfuglien has partook in some pretty competitive trophy fishing tournaments the past few years, and it seems that starting his own fishing television show could be the next big step in his retirement. Would you watch "Big Buff Fishing"?
