The hockey world is still in shock about the passing of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau.
Despite the tragedy, Johnny and Matthew's sister made a beautiful announcment via instagram today. On her story, she released a picture of her altered wedding ring. Engraved at the base are Johnny and Matthews initials (J&M)
Johnny and his brother Matthew were struck by a vehicle near their home in Salem County, New Jersey, on Thursday night. Unfortunately, both Johnny and Matthew passed away as a result of the accident.
Katie Gaudreau made alterations to her wedding ring, carving the initails J&M on the base of the band. On her instagram story the caption is "forever with me now". Katies wedding was postponed after the announcement of the accident, both her brothers were set to be groomsmen for the celebration.
"My brothers loved Devin more than he will ever know. They were so excited for us to get married. When the day comes they are going to be dancing and celebrating more than anyone"
