Breaking News out the AHL as the Manitoba Moose announce they have signed forward Tyson Empey.

Known for his brute force and fighting ability, Tyson Empey will be one of the biggest enforcers in the AHL next season.
Tyson Empey is a bonafide heavyweight fighter and a force to be reckoned with. Last season for the South Carolina Sting Rays, Empey racked up an astounding 119 penalty minutes, with a huge portion of them being fighting majors.
Empey, 29, recorded 42 points (19G, 23A) and 119 penalty minutes in 64 games with the ECHL's South Carolina Stingrays during the 2023-24 season. The forward also appeared in five games for the Hershey Bears. The Swift Current, Sask. product has notched 15 points (4G, 11A), along with 136 penalty minutes, in 84 career AHL contests between Tucson and Hershey
The Moose have definitely added on a certified tough guy here. The AHL should be on high alert as Empey is poised to make some serious noise in the league next season for the Moose.
