As the NHL offseason reached its midway point, the hockey world checks in with Toronto Maple Leafs forward Mitch Marner.
Despite intense NHL trade rumours regarding Marner's relocation to Utah, no trade has come to fruition yet.
According to Terry Koshan of the Toronto Sun, The Toronto Maple Leafs have no plans to move Marner yet and he will be reporting to training camp in September.
Treliving did not address Marner's contract during his July 1 press conference, which announced new free-agent signings, but the topic is expected to resurface as the summer progresses.
