Breaking news out the NHL as they have announced the latest induction into the hall of fame.

Shea Weber, the long time member and captain of the Montreal Canadiens has received one of the highest honours in hockey as he will be inducted into the Hall of fame. This high level of distinction is a tribute for his love of the game and his overall personal contributions to the growth of hockey .
Weber was inducted into the class with six others: builders Colin Campbell and David Poile and players Natalie Darwitz, Pavel Datsyuk, Jeremy Roenick, and Krissy Wendell-Pohl.

Weber played 1038 career NHL games, scoring 224 NHL goals and 365 assists. With the Canadiens, he played 275 games over five seasons with 58 goals and 88 assists. In 97 playoff games, he had 18 goals and 24 assists. He was the captain of the Canadiens when they reached the Stanley Cup final in 2021.

Congratulations to Shea Weber as he as sealed in legacy as one of the greatest hockey players to ever play the game.
