Dylan Samberg is definitely on hockey fans radar heading into the 2024-2025 season.

Samberg has proven to be a nice addition to the Jets back-end thus far. Although the Jets faithful are hoping for the young American to have a breakout season, the downside of his uprising would mean a significant bump in pay heading into the 2025-26 season.
Samberg hasn't been much of a point producer so far in his career but has been a solid defensive contributor with a +26 rating over the past two seasons, which ranks third-best on the team.

If he can put together a third-straight solid defensive season while increasing his point total to somewhere around 30 points with the help of Pionk, he should see a pay raise of two to three million next offseason.

If he can put together a third-straight solid defensive year while simultaneously upping his offensive numbers to 30+ points, Samberg should see a pay raise of $2-3 millions dollars AAV per season.
The 25 year old is expected to play on a defensive pairing with the struggling Neal Pionk, and it should be very interesting to see how the season unfolds for Samberg.
