After winning the second Vezina trophy of his career, the focus now shifts to what comes next for star goaltender Connor Hellebuyck.

Its no secret that Connor Hellebuyck is one of the best goaltenders in the NHL. After notching the second Vezina trophy of his career, Jets enthusiasts are starting to wonder if Hellebuyck belongs in the hall of fame after he retires.
At this rate, the next question regarding Hellebuyck is will he be a hall of famer? I think a Stanley Cup or another Vezina will be required to have him enter the conversation, but he's well on his way at this time. 275 wins, 2 Vezina trophies and the Jets franchise record holder for game played, wins, saves, and shutouts.

I don't think theres any valid argument against Connor Hellebuyk not being inducted into the hockey hall of fame. Hellebuyck has already pretty much achieved all the acolytes necessary to receive that high level of distinction, although winning a Stanley Cup would surely seal the deal for Hellebuyck in terms of hall of fame status.
All of this is to say that Hellebuyck deserves his respect as the current greatest Jets goalie of all-time. The big 300th career win should happen sometime around January or February 2025, all depending on how the Jets upcoming season unfolds. It's always a good feeling going into a season with a #1 goalie that you can trust, and the Jets have their guy in Hellebuyck for at least the next 6 seasons.
