Breaking news out of Winnipeg as the Jets announce another major signing.

Winnipeg Jets general manager Kevin Cheveldayoff has gotten up out of his Muskoka chair and has been busy making key signings left right and center.
The Jets have re-signed defenceman Logan Stanley to a two year contract extension worth $2.5 million AAV per season and Stanley will be calling Winnipeg home for the next couple of years.
Stanley contributed one goal, one assist, 29 shots on net, 40 blocked shots and 45 hits across 25 regular-season contests in 2023-24. He also provided one assist and 16 hits in three playoff appearances. Stanley will compete for a depth role with the Jets at training camp ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.

This is a solid move by Jets GM Kevin Cheveldayoff as Logan Stanley was a key asset to the Jets blue line last season. Jets fans eagerly await to see if the their general manager can continue to re-sign and scoop up more additions down the stretch.
