The contract extensions keep pouring in today for the Winnipeg Jets as they have agreed to terms with forward David Gustafsson.

David Gustafsson will be calling the province of Manitoba home for the foreseeable future as the Jets have been busy dishing out key contract extension today. The Gustafsson deal entails a two year extension worth $835,000 AAV per season.
The 24-year-old was a restricted free agent. In 39 games in the NHL with the Jets, Gustafsson had three goals and seven points while also had three assists in six AHL games with the Manitoba Moose.

Winnipeg selected the Swedish forward in the second round of the 2018 NHL Draft. In five seasons with the Jets, Gustafsson has scored four goals and 14 points in 113 career games.

Winnipeg Jets GM Kevin Cheveldayoff is making up for his lack of offseason progress as this is the second major re-signing announced this morning. David Gustafsson is poised to have a big year this upcoming season as the Jets have seen a steady incline in the young Swede's performance.
