Daily Faceoff, a reputable online hockey source has come out with their projections for the Winnipeg Jets starting forward lineups ahead of the 2024-25 NHL regular season.

Although the predicted lineups look pretty solid, theres a massive hiccup regarding the second line.
The second line features Nikolaj Ehlers - Vladislav Namestnikov - Cole Perfetti, but the trio could be in serious jeopardy as Winnipeg Jets general manager Kevin Cheveldayoff has not solidified two major components of that line.
The only safe player is Vladislav Namestnikov, who is entering the final year of his 2 year deal worth $2 million AAV per season.
Cole Perfetti is still an RFA which has made a lot of Jets enthusiasts uneasy. Although GM Cheveldayoff has made public statements about the importance of signing Perfetti, a deal is yet to be done regarding the young forward.
The biggest question mark on the second line is Nikolaj Ehlers, who is entering the final year of his $6 million dollar contract.
Ehlers has been the headlines of many trade rumours and teams across the NHL. With many teams still head hunting the young Danish forward, Perfetti and Ehler's future on the second line hangs in the balance.
The trio had combined for 11 goals last season which was tied for the fourth-highest scoring line combination on the team (even tied with the projected first line). They were also great defensively as they allowed just six goals.
