Breaking: Jets come out with major announcement

Breaking news out of Winnipeg as Jets GM Kevin Cheveldayoff has extended qualifying offers to a number of Jets players.
The Jets are facing some turmoil as they needed to make some qualifying offers to players before potentially losing them to free agency. Obviously, the Winnipeg Jets would like to keep these players if possible, but navigating through their tight salary cap has proven difficult.
Among the players who received qualifying offers are Cole Perfetti, David Gustafsson, Logan Stanley, Ville Heinola, Simon Lundmark, Artemi Kniazev, and Oskari Salminen.
