Breaking news out of the NHL as the St. Louis Blues are aggressively head hunting two highly talented Edmonton Oilers players.

Dylan Holloway and Philip Broberg are two individuals the Edmonton Oilers cannot afford to lose. They both serve as benchmarks to the future success of the organization have been detrimental to their recent Stanley Cup run.
It has just been reported that the St. Louis Blues have sent two offer sheets to both Broberg and Holloway in efforts to swipe them from Edmonton.
Edmonton has seven days to decide whether to match the offers or accept the compensation outlined by the NHL's collective bargaining agreement.
Broberg, 23, has played 81 games with the Oilers, notching two goals and 11 assists.

His offer is for a two-year deal at $4,580,917 annually, requiring a second-round pick if Edmonton declines. Holloway, 22, has 89 games of NHL experience, with nine goals and nine assists. His offer is for a two-year contract at $2,290,457 per year, necessitating a third-round pick for compensation.
