As the 2024-2025 NHL regular season rapidly approaches, the media begins to rank the Winnipeg Jets roster.

Mark Scheifele is a player who has stolen the hearts of Winnipeg Jets enthusiasts throughout the NHL. He's a skilled veteran who is seemingly always in the right place at the right time.
Scheifele consistently brings an offensive edge to the Jets every season and has proven himself to be a valuable asset. With that in mind, could Scheifele be the best player in Jets 2.0 history?
A close second is the man who kicked off the new generation of Jets hockey when being selected seventh overall in the 2011 NHL Draft. Since then, the Kitchener native has been a near point-per-game player with 297 goals and 420 assists for 717 points in 797 games. Scheifele has always been a difference maker with the most goals (298) in the Jets new era as well as the second-most game winning goals (48) in team history.

Mark Scheifele has a lot to prove this upcoming season. Not only does the veteran forward have his eyes set on his first Stanley Cup, but Scheifele will be looking to turn heads ahead of Team Canada's Winter Olympic roster selections. If Scheifele can pull it off, he's without a doubt the best player to emerge out of Jets 2.0 history.
