Nick Kypreos, a hockey insider from sportsnet has suggested Patrik Laine could be returning to the Winnipeg Jets.

These remarks by Nick Kypreos arent sitting well with Jets enthusiasts as his game has gone downhill since being traded out of the organization to the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2021.
Kypreos goes on to ask if the Winnipeg Jets would take Laine back. "He's shown great success there in the past, he was happy."

Kypreos goes on to suggest that the reason Laine wanted out of Winnipeg was due to bullying and harassment from former Jets captain Blake Wheeler and fellow teammate Mark Scheifele. But with Wheeler now out of the organization, it may present a new opportunity for Laine to come back for a fresh start to revamp his game in Winnipeg.
Rumors were that Laine's young and upcoming status threatened him, and his right-wing position. Wheeler was the top right-wing on the team and apparently didn't like the fact that Laine scoring and gaining popularity.

Since his emergence in the league, Laine has played a total of 480 games for the Winnipeg Jets and the Blue Jackets, tallying 204 goals for a 388 points.
Could we see Laine come back to the Peg? Only time will tell.
