Connor Hellebuyk had this to say about Jets fans...

Theres no debate that Connor Hellebuyk is one of the best modern day goaltenders of our era.
The Winnipeg Jets stud goaltender has been a finalist for the Vezina trophy in 2018, 2020, 2023, and now the winner in 2024. Hellebuyk is also one of the few goalies ever to win the distinguished honour twice in a NHL career. Pretty incredible stuff.
Although we honour his achievements, Connor Hellebuyk's humility and dedication to his team his highlighted now more than ever as he had some heartfelt words for his fellow fans & teammates in Jets nation. During post awards media coverage, the esteemed goaltender had this to say:
«This is an individual award but it's not won individually. Finally I'd like to thank all the Winnipeg fans, especially the ones that showed up here tonight. Thank you guys. Your support is so appreciated. We need you guys and I appreciate you coming out.»
I think its safe to say the Jets absolutely love their starting goaltender and Connor Hellebuyk equally loves the city of Winnipeg right back. Hopefully "Helly" can have another great run next year to add a Stanley Cup to his already impressive resume.
