Following surgical intervention from an injured shoulder, Winnipeg Jets prospect Danny Zhilkin is ready to to make noise this season for the Moose.

44 games into the regular season last year for the Moose, Zhilkin suffered a devastating season ending shoulder injury which required surgical intervention and months of rehabilitation.
Although he's wearing a yellow non-contact jersey this week during the Jets summer development camp, it hasn't deterred him from getting in on the action. Sources have confirmed that Zhilkin is almost 100% and is poised to have a breakout season for the Manitoba Moose.
«I feel basically 100 percent. The non-contact is more precautionary,» said Zhilkin. «It's summer so there is no need to rush anything. I feel good on the ice, there are no restrictions, there are no limitations. I feel great.» Zhilkin commented
The young Jets prospect notched 2 goals with a combined 7 points in the AHL last season, but Zhilkin is looking to have a much bigger impact for the Moose this season. He's a talented skater with a knack for finding the back of the net.
He's lit the lamp 23 times in 2021-22 with Guelph in the Ontario Hockey League, and followed that up with 29 goals combined with Guelph and Kitchener the following campaign.
