The Winnipeg Jets have recently acquired one the best prospects to emerge out of the WHL.

The Jets have found an absolute gem in forward Ben King. The young prospect lead the WHL in scoring in 2021 and was comes to the Jets with a unique arsenal.
King was a fourth round pick for the Anaheim Ducks in 2022 and is coming off a 30-point campaign in the AHL with the San Diego Gulls. He recorded a matching 15 goals and 15 assists in 61 games that helped him finish eighth on the team in points.

The Vernon product was a point-per-game player in juniors with 106 goals and 134 assists for 240 points in 236 games split between the Swift Current Broncos and Red Deer Rebels. He led the WHL with 52 goals in 68 games during the 2021-22 season.

King will be looking to have an immediate impact with the Manitoba Moose next season. King definitely poses a huge chance to make the jump to the NHL if he manages to reach a level of offensive consistency.
