The rumours entailed a specific amount of playing time and a guaranteed spot on the Habs power play. Sources are now speculating if all this drama has caused the young prospects value to completely diminish. So what do the Jets do in this situation?
Jets and Kevin Cheveldayoff could patiently wait this out until next season and potentially the trade deadline, to where they would then make a deal and McGroarty would be able to sign with the team that acquires him and head straight into the NHL, fulfilling his wish.
