Winnipeg Jets fans are watching the Stanley Cup finals very closely as their former bench boos Paul Maurice is only one win away from winning his first ever Stanley Cup as a head coach. Paul Maurice was the former bench boss for the Winnipeg Jets for 9 seasons before upper management decided they needed a new leadership voice for the team.
«They haven't quit on me,» Maurice said at the time. «But they need somebody that can get them to that next place.»
The question remains, do the Jets miss having Paul Maurice as head coach? With the Edmonton oilers making history after storming back from a 0-3 deficit, fans are starting to speculate that letting Paul Maurice go may have been the best decision in franchise history as he clearly isn't capable of getting the job done.
