Breaking news out of Winnipeg as the Winnipeg Jets have re-acquired goaltender Eric Comrie from the Buffalo Sabres.

The reported deal is a 2 year contract worth $825K AAV per season. This news is causing quite the controversy in Jets nation today as this will be Comrie's third stint with the team. Comrie was a second round draft pick by the Jets back in 2013.
He actually played his best hockey in Winnipeg in 2020-21 going 10-5-1 in 19 games with a .920 save.% & 2.58 GAA. He's extremely close to a bunch of guys on this team so that makes it seamless.
During Comries time with the Winnipeg Jets, his play was respectable and it looked like he might actually have the chance to be a starter in the NHL. After testing free agaency, he landed in Buffalo but was never able to get his game going. Could the change of scenery help revamp his game?
