Breaking news of of Calgary as their star forward Nazem Kadri may be seeking an exit from the franchise.

After winning the Stanley Cup with the Colorado Avalanche, Nazem Kadri signed a lucrative $49 million dollar contract with the Calgary Flames in hopes of winning his second cup, but unfortunately it hasn't worked out so far.
With the Flames entering what seems to be an imminent rebuild, David Pagnotta suggests that Kadri will be waiving his no-move clause in order to sign with a cup contender elsewhere.
"My understanding with respect to (Kadri) is that he's willing to waive (the no-move clause) for the right situation. I think he would welcome a return to Colorado or farther East, somewhere closer to home," Pagnotta reports.

Nazem made comments during an interview last season concerning his intentions to ride it through with the Flames until his contract expires, but now the dynamic has shifted and Kadri will likely be leaving Calgary in the coming weeks.
