Niederreiter, 31, is one of the newer faces on the Jets squad, but he brings ample experience and skill to the table. Earning his 900th career game is no small feat and is definitely a noteworthy achievement.
The 31-year old has played for the New York Islanders, Minnesota Wild, Carolina Hurricanes and Nashville Predators before settling in over the last year and a half with the Jets.
In 77 regular season games last season, Niederreiter notched 18 goals and 16 assists and was a +9 rating on the ice.
